I am an artist who constantly strives to realize myself through the experience of seeing, hearing, and feeling beauty. Our lives are both a product of art and a source of manifesting reality. Art helps people and society achieve harmony and balance. The ability of art to imitate nature and beautifully recreate it embodies the will to elevate culture to higher value.
Through my work, I aim to express the accidental events that occur in our lives. The pieces that received much attention at my recent exhibition, "Piece of Color" contain a unique perspective based on diverse experiences in painting, sculpture, and ceramics. In the process of creating works from gathered ceramic sculptures, I reveal the texture of the clay itself and express emotional sculptural language through calm colors. Through the forms of ceramics and the concept of ' breaking', I convey the meaning and stories of each small piece, intertwining different colors, shapes, textures, and dimensions to narrate the accidental events of our lives.
저는 아름다움을 보고 듣고 느끼는 경험을 통해 자아를 실현하고자 끊임없이 앞으로 나아가는 작가입니다. 우리의 삶은 예술의 산물이자 현실을 실현하는 원천이기도 합니다. 예술은 사람과 사회가 조화와 균형을 이루도록 돕습니다. 자연을 모방하고, 그 자연을 아름답게 재창조하는 예술의 능력은 문화를 더 높은 가치로 끌어올리려는 의지를 담고 있습니다.
저는 작품을 통해 우리의 삶에 일어나는 우연한 사건들을 표현하고자 합니다. 최근 전시 '피스 오브 컬러'에서 많은 관심을 받은 작품들은 회화, 조각, 고예 등 다양한 경험을 바탕으로 한 독창적인 고예관을 담고 있습니다. 도자 조각을 모아 작품을 만드는 과정에서 흙의 질감을 그대로 드러내거나 차분한 색채로 감성적인 조형 언어를 표현하고 있습니다. 도자기 형태의 모습과 다른 '깨뜨림'을 통해 작은 조각 마다의 의미와 이야기를 담아내고, 각기 다른 색감, 모양, 질감, 입체감을 결합하는 과정을 통해 우리의 삶의 우연한 사건들을 이야기 합니다.
